MY EXPERIENCE
I have been recruiting in the
Environmental, Industrial Health, Safety
and related disciplines for nearly 15 years.
The companies I work with included those
in the chemical, petroleum,
manufacturing, and forest products
industries. I work with these companies
on a nationwide basis.
MY ROLE
Assisting client companies locate and
qualify candidates for a professional level
position they have a need to fill, is the
focus of my work. Additionally, I qualify
candidates for these companies both in
terms of their professional experience and
personal motives to insure a reasonable
match to the company’s needs and the
opportunity they offer. I must continually
communicate to the client company
where the candidate(s) stands regarding
the company’s opportunity throughout the
process. My fees are always paid by the
company.
MY RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU
Keep you apprised of opportunities I
become aware of that fit your
professional and personal needs and to
assist you in meeting your goals.
Make you aware of companies to whom I
plan to present your credentials. In nearly
all cases, this is done prior to the
presentation. The only exception would
be if I recently became aware of exactly
the type of opportunity you wanted and
you were not reachable within a
reasonable time frame.
Be straight forward with you regarding
your goal aspirations and desires relative
to your experience in the marketplace. I
will not present you to a client for just
any position.
Assist you in getting the best offer
possible. Assist you in getting the
answers to questions you have. Treat
your search for improvement
CONFIDENTIALLY.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO ME
Have a reasonably clear understanding of
what you are looking for in your next
career move. This includes both personal
and professional needs.
Inform me of changes in your plans and to
keep me updated on your professional
skills and any personal issues affecting
your interests and goals.
Let me know immediately of any changes
in your status or any change of interest in
a specific opportunity we may be
pursuing.
Return my phone calls promptly, keep
appointments, and present yourself to
companies in an interested professional
manner.
Let me know where you stand on
important issues throughout the interview
process; i.e. money needed, availability,
open questions, etc.
Inform me of where you have already
been (resumes sent, telephone calls
received, personal interviews, offers) to
avoid duplication of effort and
embarrassment for you and me.
Treat the information and clients I speak
with you about as CONFIDENTIAL.
With both of us fulfilling our parts, we
can be very successful together.
